Job Description

As a QA-QC Inspector, your primary responsibility is to inspect, test, and evaluate various components, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The role of a Quality Inspector is pivotal in upholding quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization's operations. With attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence, you contribute to the overall success and reputation FLINT within industry.

What would you be doing? 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of flanged and welded connections.
  • Coordinate NDE, PWHT and pressure testing activities of multiple job scopes simultaneously as outlined on the Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Specifications, ASME and CSA code requirements.
  • Maintain quality documentation according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate with team members on daily functional QC duties.

Qualifications

  • CSA W178.2 Level 2 with applicable endorsements and a valid eye exam.

  • Hands-on experience with torquing, welding, and pressure testing, with strong knowledge of ASME and CSA codes.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction and oil & gas turnaround environments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

  • Physically capable of performing demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in industrial environments

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
