Overview
Requirement for an experienced/certified Aerospace Auditor at a supplier based in St. Louis, Missouri.
This requirement is to conduct a Product Audit and manage, review and validate any non-conformances.
Audit is to be scheduled around mid-January 2026.
Responsibilities
Candidate will need:
- Conduct audits: Perform Product audits of aerospace products and processes to verify compliance with technical specifications, industry standards (AS9100), and regulations.
- Identify non-conformities: Analyze products, processes, and documentation to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement.
- Document results: Prepare a comprehensive audit report, documenting findings, deviations, and results.
- Manage corrective actions: Monitor deadlines for corrective and preventive actions, track their implementation, and support departments in their definition and initiation.
- Coach and train: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to auditees and other staff on quality management systems and audit processes.
- Review and validate: Review and validate non-conformances, quality procedures, and corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experiance conducting audits within an Aerospace or Defence environment.
- Experience performing audits (internal, external, or supplier) is a key requirement.
- A strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as AS9100/AS9120.
- Familiarity with quality control principles, methodologies, and tools is crucial.
- A background in Mechanical Aerospace components.
