Job Summary and Responsibilities

RN Transition Program - Pediatric ICU, Beginning March, 2026.

The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit.  Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience to be eligible for this program.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing required.
  • Completion of an approved Basic Arrhythmia course prior to the start of the transition program (unless otherwise agreed upon by Unit Director and Education department to complete during the program)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Registered Nurse with current CA License and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card required.
  • ACLS PALS (per unit requirements)
  • Successful completion of a formal Dignity Health interview process; the overall scoring of the interview consensus will be taken into consideration in determining the selection of candidate(s).
  • Current employees: Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past twelve(12) months and with at least a "Meets" standards on the last 2 perfomance evaluations.
