The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a proactive Program Administrator II to power the operations of the Cantor Laboratory—a dynamic team exploring T cell genes and their products in anti-tumor immunity, antibody-mediated rejection, and autoimmune and neurodegenerative disorders. You’ll join a vibrant, collaborative research program that extends to the wider research community across Dana-Farber and the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School and its affiliates, working closely with the PI, lab staff, and internal/external faculty to advance high-impact science.
In this deadline-driven role, you will facilitate preparation and submission of research publications and sponsored research applications (including grants, fellowships and relevant materials for biotech/pharma). Ability to draft and edit the above as well as relevant correspondence; coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects; ensure clear communication and persistent follow-up; develop and refine program goals; and prepare data-driven reports. You will interface with departmental pre- and post-award as well as operations staff as well as central administration (e.g., IACUC, EH&S,) to help keep critical research moving on time and on target and ensure compliance. Ideal candidates are articulate (oral and written) communicators and meticulous organizers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to transformative basic and translational research.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
