Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the VP of Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in preparing and reviewing SEC filings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. This position requires strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.

 

Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Partner with internal teams and external auditors to support quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and prepare position papers.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Support internal controls and documentation for SOX compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • CPA preferred.
