JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSEPayroll Analyst will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and that expenses are posting accurately tothe general ledger. This role will work closely with the Payroll Operations Supervisor ensuring day to day operationalactivities are being performed in accordance with the standards and processes that have been defined,
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Performs data analysis to ensure accurate and timely production of bi-weekly and off-cycle correctionpayrolls.2. Assists Payroll Supervisor in managing escalated cases to ensure accurate and timely resolution.3. Performs data analysis, using reports from case management system, utilized for monthly metricreporting on case types, volume, and identifying trends.4. Works closely with Payroll Operations Supervisor to ensure coordination of analysis, implementation ofkey organizational projects and continuous improvement activities.5. Works closely with outsource third party vendor for garnishment administration includinginterpretation, entry in the payroll system, and disbursement6. Assists with reconciliation and timely cash transfer of MBO funds to Payroll Operations after forbiweekly and off-cycle payrolls.7. Complete analysis of system configuration during new implementations and analysis of pay data for thefirst payroll after implementation. Assist in analysis of final payrolls for groups divesting. 8. Assist withperiodic and annual external and internal audit requests9. Manages inquiries from National and MBOs financial teams related to general ledger payroll interfacesincluding identifying root cause and determining resolution
