Job  Summary:

 

The RN Service Line Coordinator is a Registered Nurse that is responsible for coordinating and implementing services and activities related to the Robotic Program. Responsible for ensuring that patient receives best possible clinical and service experience from the time of surgery scheduling throughout the perioperative experience by overseeing patient, OR staff and resident education. Will maintain the quality standards for responsive service including data management of key quality indicators. He/She functions as a liason between the physicians, nursing staff, OR leadership, allied health professionals, patients and families.Daily Operations:

  • Manage service line surgery schedule
  • Order and maintain inventory of instruments, ancillary supplies, and accessories related to the service line
  • Maintain and update OR/Hospital protocols related to service line surgery
  • Supervise the preparation and positioning of patients for robotic procedures
  • Maintain records of surgical procedure pathways and guidelines
  • Document procedure results and assist with procedure data collection and management

Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • One year of OR Nursing experience including recent knowledge of Robotic Surgical Care in GYN, General, Urology and Thoracic patients
  • AZ RN license

Preferred:

  • Three (3) years of advanced knowledge of Robotic Surgery is preferred in all surgical specialties including GYN, General, Urology and Thoracic
