Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant looking to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment? District Veterinary Hospital – Navy Yard is excited to add a full-time Veterinary Assistant to our dedicated and compassionate team! 🐶🐱
📍 Location:801 2nd St SEWashington, DC 20003🚇 Just 2 blocks from the Metro – Metro benefits offered!
🕒 Schedule:
3 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Every Saturday, 6-hour shift
💰 Compensation & Benefits:
$20–$26/hour, depending on experience and licensure
80 hours of paid time off

🧪 Skills & Requirements:We’re looking for someone who is:✅ Proficient with venipuncture and restraint✅ Familiar with medical terminology and vaccine protocols✅ Eager to grow and learn✅ Previous veterinary experience preferred✨ Surgical experience is a plus but not required

Practice software: VetFM
In-house lab: Abaxis
