About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Resource Manager to oversee scheduling, allocation, and optimization of resources across customer projects. This role ensures projects are staffed effectively, utilization targets are met, and organizational goals are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Resource Planning & Allocation: Develop and implement strategies to align staffing with project priorities. Proactively forecast skill needs, training, and hiring. 
• Scheduling: Maintain accurate schedules, resolve conflicts, and ensure backlog is appropriately staffed. 
• Capacity Management: Partner with project managers and department leads to forecast needs and avoid bottlenecks. 
• Optimization & Reporting: Monitor utilization data, recommend improvements, and deliver insights via reports and dashboards. 
• Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact for resource requests. Work cross-functionally to validate resource loads in Statements of Work and forecasts. 
• Policy & Process: Contribute to resource management best practices, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 
• Experience as a Resource Analyst or Manager in a professional services organization. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent written and presentation skills 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Analytical nature and problem-solving attitude.  
• Proficiency with MS Office Programs; MS Word & advanced Excel skills required. 
• Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI an asset 

• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
