We are seeking a senior level candidate to provide Senior Cyber Analytics Support researching technology trends and cyber security topics. A successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity with the position sponsor including both red and blue team cyber activities. The position is highly analytical and requires a focus on threats and defenses.
Tasks:
Cyber intrusion investigations
Review and analysis of cyber security trends
Technical solutioning
Requirements:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity
Familiarity with custom toolsets
Understanding of computer networks and vulnerabilities analysis
Previous experience with AI/ML solutioning
Demonstrated ability to create custom scripts
Creation of data visualizations
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to provide assessments.
Understanding of ML/AI processes and be able to evaluate the efficiency of models
Understanding of networks and various networking architectures
Scripting ability to be able to manipulate and parse through unstructured and structured datasets (Powershell, Python, SQL)
Proficiency in visualizations
Familiarity with sponsor tools
Desired Skills:
Ability to convey technical topics or conclusions to audiences of varying technical literacy
Previous experience analyzing Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors
Experience working with AI/ML processes and assessing model efficiency

*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
