Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting Potential Opportunity for a Medical Suppy Technician to support Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

This is more than a supply role, you’ll help keep hospital operations running smoothly, ensuring medical teams have the supplies they need exactly when they need them.

 

What You Bring

• US Citizenship

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or medical supply handling

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, barcode scanning tools)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts over 100 lbs

• Clear background check; no criminal record

• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing)

• Willingness to work in different environments (hot, cold, warehouse, clinical areas)

What You’ll Do

• Manage, stock, and distribute sterile and non-sterile medical supplies across the medical center

• Use barcode scanners and automated systems to track inventory

• Follow FIFO (“First In, First Out”) methods for accuracy and safety

• Ensure expired, recalled, or compromised supplies are removed

• Stock inventory in wards, clinics, ORs, and supply areas

• Keep supply rooms clean, organized, and ready for daily operations

• Monitor supply needs and escalate any issues to senior staff
