Provides creativity and innovation to help prepare or improve upon current course materials for use in the PBC Online Program.

  • Hours: Project based - hourly. Can be contract work
  • Campus: Portland Bible College
  • Reports to the Online Program Manager
  • Has no supervisory responsibility
  • Requires good knowledge and use of editing software and media platforms, and general office applications such as Microsoft and Google suite
  • Previous project management and administration
  • Specific technical skills are preferred in the following key areas:
    • Programs/applications – Proficiency in either Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Syncing – Capable of syncing multiple camera angles or shots accurately
    • Basic Audio Editing – Able to perform fundamental audio cleanup, including applying compression, EQ, De-Esser, and other tools to ensure clear & high-quality sound
    • Basic Color Correction - Can make simple color adjustments when needed (e.g., brightness, contrast, shadows, highlights, saturation)
    • Editing/Cutting – Comfortable trimming footage to remove unnecessary segments, such as off-topic questions, in-class distractions, or announcements not relevant to online viewers
    • Intro/Outro – Add the standard PBC intro and outro to each video
    • Publishing – Export and render the final video in high quality, optimized for smooth playback on the intended platform
  • Must be extremely detailed-oriented
  • Able to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new educational software tools
  • Must be a member in good standing of Mannahouse, Global Network church, or Minister’s Fellowship International (MFI); including consistent attendance, ministry participation, and tithing.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles audio and video files in post-production
  • Works with the Online Manager to brand and stylize course curriculum for online environment
  • Creates or redesigns PowerPoints for teacher lectures for online courses to enhance courses and the overall educational experience
  • Learns and uses multiple technology systems and platforms – Articulate Presenter, Camtasia, Populi and Thinkific
  • Uploads and organizes curriculum content into Learning Management Systems, including lectures, assignments, discussion questions, teacher bios, course syllabi and lesson instructions
