What You’ll Do

In this role, you will deliver speech-language services directly to students with a range of needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Providing direct therapy services across grade levels
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal development
  • Completing required documentation, including IEPs, Medicaid billing, and progress reports
  • Offering consultative support to school staff and caregivers

Requirements

To apply, you should have:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – required
  • Active Ohio SLP license (state AND department of education)
  • At least 2 years of school-based experience (preferred)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Full-time availability for the 2025–2026 school year
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with Special Education Case Management and IEP development

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt in a school-based environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
