The Opportunity: Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA, LABA)
Interested in Early Intervention?
The Assistant Behavior Analyst role is a mid-tier supervisory position that combines providing direct therapy services with acting as a licensed assistant behavior analyst for various insurance-based school district funding sources. This is a unique hybrid role that allows BCBA candidates to accrue unrestricted fieldwork supervision hours while delivering direct therapy to assigned clients. The primary focus is young kiddos, or early intervention learners.
You will assist an assigned clinician with a defined caseload, providing critical support to the clinical team and contributing to the overall success of the agency. This position requires a positive, supportive attitude, independent thinking, excellent communication, and strong clinical critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities (Duties include, but are not limited to):
Pay Scale:
Direct Intervention: $28.00-$30.00/hour
Supervision: $35.00-$40.00/hour
Work Environment Highlights
The working environment involves working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes managing high-volume auditory sounds and behaviors such as aggression, eloping, self-injury, and property destruction. Services may require flexible scheduling, including rotating opening/closing shifts (clinic based), and driving to treatment sites (home, clinic, or community). Support activities may involve activities of daily living such as eating, toileting, and hygiene skill development.
