ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As we continue to expand our real estate footprint, we are seeking a full-time Area Sales Manager to be based in Dallas at our Victory Park location. This role is a high-impact, high-visibility position, responsible for helping us grow and requiring a wide skill set, including execution of the full sales cycle, top-of-the-funnel pipeline management and assistance in strategic partnerships and brand awareness . The Area Sales Manager will report directly to the Director, Sales – West Region and interact daily with other internal company departments, as well as external vendors and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating profitable new business through sales funnel management and outreach activities to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships through outbound outreach, networking and campaign execution, targeting key industries and demographics aligned with company objectives.
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and conducting tours to negotiating proposals and closing deals.
- Maintaining consistent outreach with potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings and tours.
- Staying sharp on local competition and market trends, assessing Workbox’s pricing, amenities, and value propositions relative to its competitors.
- Developing and executing sales strategies that address both short- and long-term goals, tailored to local market dynamics and growth opportunities.
- Proactively driving renewal success and client retention.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In the first 30 days, you’ll:
- Work closely with the Director, Sales - West Region training to learn our sales process, systems, the services we provide to members, and all about the co-working industry.
- Begin prospecting and leading your own tours.
In the first 60 days, you’ll:
- Be comfortable with the sales process and systems we use to build your sales funnel through numerous outlets, including outbound campaigns.
- Get experience negotiating deals and building your own community at the center with a better understanding of how Workbox supports our members to help their companies grow.
In the first 90 days, you’ll
- Run tours with confidence & build relationships with new prospects.
- Drive top-of-the-funnel pipeline.
- Identify and execute new strategic business development opportunities.
- Work with the Director, Sales - West Region to implement strategies for outreach.
- Take ownership of your location by closing new deals and managing member renewals.
- 2-3 years of experience in a successful sales-related role (coworking, tenant representation or leasing agent experience preferred).
- Experience or knowledge of the full sales cycle in the commercial real estate, coworking or similar industry.
- Previous experience in building relationships with commercial real estate brokers preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Relationship builder with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic thinker who takes initiative to create and execute successful outbound campaigns.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with tools like Hubspot, Canva, OfficeRnD, and LinkedIn.
- Hands on, team player who thrives in service oriented environments and exudes a “no job too small” mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Annual base salary, plus uncapped sales commissions
