PILYTIX seeks account executives to grow our business by serving prospective higher education fundraising clients through understanding their needs and challenges, then offering relevant, cutting-edge integration and AI solutions. PILYTIX products are not out the box solutions. Candidates must have experience selling technical solutions to the higher education industry.
We believe the best route to success is through leveraging warm leads to have conversations with known prospective clients. Therefore, the ideal candidate will bring a solid network of relevant industry contacts or a track record of quickly building a network.
What you’ll do:
Come ready to be a part of a team, but work independently to generate a book of business and be accountable for results – conduct research, make contacts, schedule and give demos that show how our products meet needs and provide meaningful value.
Responsibilities
- Research. Surface new opportunities. Identify internal, relevant contacts for targeted outreach.
- Plan outreach. Contact and engage market prospects that fit the ideal customer profile to generate fundraising business.
- Schedule discovery calls with prospective leads.
- Conduct discovery. Understand prospective client’s current technology, processes, areas of interest.
- Qualify prospects. Based on needs articulated during discovery, be able to clearly present PILYTIX products and solutions, how PILYTIX can meet their needs, and the value PILYTIX will deliver.
- Meet established goals.
- Maintain contact. After client onboarding, occasional contact may indicate opportunities to upsell and/or request client referrals and recommendations.
- Track progress. Record and maintain relevant prospect information in CRM.
- Communicate progress. Attend weekly meetings for discussions and timely updates on weekly pipeline activity.
- Previous experience with university donor relations
- Previous experience selling to higher ed fundraising organizations
- Experience with all stages of an end-to-end sales process including lead generation and qualification, nurturing, product presentation, negotiation, closing, and assistance with post-sale communication and retention to upsell where appropriate
- Track record of measurable goal achievement
- Excellent verbal and written skills

- Compensation: Base pay is commensurate with employee qualifications and PILYTIX offers an aggressive commission plan
