Snow School Coordinator (25-26 Season S00507)

Responsible for the day-to-day operational tasks and overall support of the Snow School Director. This includes managing lesson programs, handling customer service and ensuring a safe environment for snow school clients.

This is considered a part-time, temporary, non-benefits eligible position. The rate for this position is $18.50 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

  • ‚Äã‚ÄãAssist in staff coordination, scheduling & lesson delivery 
  • ‚ÄãManaging program logistics and expectations of clients and instructors 
  • ‚ÄãAdministrative support of Snow School Director 
  • ‚ÄãCustomer service and assisting guests needs in a fast paced and weather dependent environment  
  • ‚ÄãCross departmental support and collaboration with other departments  
  • ‚ÄãPositive and fun attitude 
  • ‚ÄãAdvanced ability to demo and teach in diverse terrain and conditions‚Äã 
  • ‚Äã‚ÄãExcellent customer service skills and essential for interacting with customers and handling issues professionally and promptly  
  • ‚Äã‚ÄãStrong communication skills to be able to work with a variety of clients (students, parents, various ages, demographics, staff and management) 
  • ‚ÄãExcellent organizational and time management skills 
  • ‚ÄãPrevious experience as a ski or snowboard instructor 
  • ‚ÄãPSIA certifications encouraged 
  • ‚ÄãChildren‚Äôs certifications encouraged 
  • ‚ÄãProficient with basic computer skills‚Äã‚Äã 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Criminal background check
  • Must be able to show and demonstrate on snow teaching techniques.
  • Occasional heavy lifting and long hours of standing/walking in snowy/icy terrain in ski or snowboard boots.
