Director of Pharmacy

Location: Alameda, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Compensation: $187,000–$210,000 per year

Summary:
We’re looking for a Director of Pharmacy to lead operations at two community health center pharmacies in California. The Director will act as the Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements, and oversee the 340B Program and P&T Committee. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong leadership skills and a commitment to accessible healthcare.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead multi-site pharmacy operations with focus on safety and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy staff and externs
• Manage 340B Program requirements, audits, and reporting
• Direct P&T Committee initiatives and formulary updates
• Support community outreach and staff education
• Oversee inventory, procurement, and budgeting processes
• Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations

• PharmD or BPharm from an accredited institution
• Active California Pharmacist license
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy practice (FQHC experience preferred)
• 340B Program experience required; PIC experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Spanish-speaking preferred
