Director of Pharmacy

Position: Full-Time
Salary: $187,000–$210,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Berkeley, CA

About the Opportunity

Our organization is looking for a Director of Pharmacy to lead, innovate, and collaborate across two community-based sites in California. This position serves as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), ensuring operational success while prioritizing patient safety, affordability, and access. You’ll manage the 340B Drug Pricing Program, direct the P&T Committee, and guide a talented pharmacy team.

Your Role

• Lead pharmacy operations with excellence and accountability.
• Act as PIC and uphold compliance with all regulations.
• Ensure effective administration of the 340B Program.
• Oversee formulary management through the P&T Committee.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members to reach their potential.
• Optimize inventory and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with medical teams to enhance medication use and patient outcomes.

• PharmD or BPharm degree.
• Active California Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy practice; community or FQHC experience preferred.
• Experience managing the 340B Program required; PIC experience a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

• Annual salary: $187,000–$210,000.
