Director of Pharmacy

Position: Full-Time
Salary: $187,000–$210,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Alameda, CA

Position Description

We are hiring a results-driven Director of Pharmacy to lead two high-performing community health pharmacies in California. Acting as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), you will oversee all operations, compliance, and staff development, while managing the 340B Drug Pricing Program with integrity and precision. This is a key leadership position for someone who values innovation, accountability, and patient trust.

Responsibilities

• Direct pharmacy operations, licensing, and compliance functions.
• Manage HRSA-compliant 340B Program operations.
• Lead the P&T Committee in optimizing clinical outcomes.
• Train and supervise pharmacy personnel and externs.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Manage procurement and medication storage logistics.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers.

• PharmD or BPharm degree.
• Active California Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy practice; community or FQHC experience preferred.
• Experience managing the 340B Program required; PIC experience a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

• Annual salary: $187,000–$210,000.
