Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. Requirements

Coordinates, monitors and supervises all aspects of the department’s safety, security and sanitation procedures on assigned shift.

Salary: $58,995 - $61,916/ annually

Qualifications: 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• ServSafe / Food Handlers certification preferred.
• Knowledge of work to be performed and the ability to communicate and work cooperatively with all members of the health care team.
• Ability to exercise judgment and use initiative in dealing with problems.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation a plus.
• 3-5 years experience working in a hospital dietary department a plus.
• Must be extremely flexible in hours and days scheduled and willing to assist where needed.
• Must be able to motivate and direct others.
• Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by the specific job duties and function.

Education: 

• Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
