Location: Manassas, VA 20110
Employment Type: Full-Time (30-40 hours a week)
Pharmacy Opening Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (not all days required; final schedule to be determined)

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team at a community-focused pharmacy in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with strong communication skills and prior experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment such as CVS or Walgreens. Candidates with lead technician experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service to the pharmacy's patients
  • Manage prescription processing, insurance claims, and patient inquiries
  • Support daily pharmacy operations including inventory management and workflow optimization
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems for data entry and prescription management
  • Lead or support the technician team as needed, including task delegation and workflow coordination
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment

Required Qualifications

  • Current and active Pharmacy Technician license (Virginia)
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule between Monday–Saturday
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Manassas, VA 20110.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Lead Technician experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting
  • Prior employment at CVS, Walgreens, or similar high-volume pharmacy environments
  • Familiarity with insurance processing and pharmacy management systems

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $20–$30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
