Director of Pediatric Services

Location: Oakland, CA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $300,000–$310,000 annually

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Services to build a high-performing, collaborative pediatric team serving a diverse patient population in Oakland, CA. This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with department management, ensuring safe, efficient, and culturally responsive care for children and their families.

Key Focus Areas:

• Shape a positive, inclusive work culture that supports provider well-being and engagement
• Guide quality improvement projects and ensure adherence to regulatory and clinical standards
• Partner with community organizations and stakeholders to better meet the needs of Black children and other underserved groups
• Oversee departmental budget, staffing plans, and service expansion opportunities
• Support integration of pediatrics with other clinical disciplines and services

• Active California medical license with no disciplinary history
• Board certification in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics
• Current DEA and BLS
• At least 7 years of ambulatory pediatric experience, including formal leadership responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience in community-based care and strong commitment to health equity
