Director of Pediatric Services

Location: Oakland, CA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $300,000–$310,000 per year

Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Services who excels at building teams and developing clinicians. Based in Oakland, CA, this role is ideal for a physician who enjoys mentoring, shaping department culture, and ensuring that pediatric care is accessible, coordinated, and respectful of the families served.

Key Areas of Impact:

• Hiring, onboarding, and coaching pediatric providers and staff
• Providing regular feedback, evaluations, and professional development support
• Creating a supportive, inclusive environment where staff feel heard and valued
• Collaborating with behavioral health, family medicine, and other disciplines for integrated pediatric care
• Ensuring services reflect the needs of Black families and other historically marginalized communities

• Active California medical license with no disciplinary history
• Board-certified in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics
• Current DEA and BLS certifications
• At least 7 years of ambulatory pediatric experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Experience in community-based or FQHC environments
