Quandela is hiring a Quantum Computing Use-Case Analysis Intern for a 6-month internship (final-year or gap year P2), starting in September 2026.

Description of the Project

As a Quantum Computing Use-Case intern, you will join the business and sales team while working closely with algorithm developers and hardware experts. Your mission is to analyze practical industry use-cases for Quandela’s quantum computing technology, bridging technical capabilities with business needs. You may run tests on existing algorithm code to understand resource requirements and translate your findings into insights that support client conversations, sales pitches, and future algorithm development.

You will work closely with your mentor, who will guide you through Quandela’s technology and business priorities while giving you the independence to lead your project.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Research industry needs for quantum computing across prioritized sectors (e.g. telecom, energy, chemistry, cybersecurity).
• Run and interpret algorithm code (if experience allows) to assess resource requirements.
• Produce professional, client-ready slide decks that communicate insights clearly.
• Create technical documentation linking industry problems to hardware specifications.
• Engage with internal teams and external partners to validate findings.

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a STEM or business field
• Either a technical background (physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering) or industry/business experience (finance, telecom, energy, etc.) that can be applied to quantum use-cases
• Ability to step into the client’s shoes and assess business needs
• Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus)
• Python knowledge is helpful but not required — only used if you already have some experience with it. (Machine learning experience is a plus)
• Above all: curiosity, independence, and initiative
