  • Support design, manufacturing and/or test of complex electrical/electronic equipment, wire harnesses and systems
  • Interpret and implement specific design and test requirements
  • Analyze and support update of technical documentation for legacy aircraft systems
  • Perform technical analysis of subsystem components and/or software to confirm design compatibility and identify risks
  • Support component validation/verification activities
  • Create wire diagrams, drawings and schematics to support reverse engineering projects and technical data updates; familiarity with Zuken and SolidWorks preferred
  • Apply specialized knowledge to resolve design issues that have an impact to subsystem, system integration or task area
  • Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions
  • Participate within design teams and support technical reviews and meetings, both internal and external
  • Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimal program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution
  • Identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure
  • Demonstrate good communication, time management skills and a willingness to learn and grow through experience
  • Comply with OSHA and ESD safety protocols
  • Maintain high ethical/professional standards of quality, performance, demeanor, and judgment always
  • Accept direction from, and interact professionally with supervisor and co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Training: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required  

Experience:

  • 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred 

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds at a time
