Dalio Education Overview:
Founded by Barbara Dalio, Dalio Education partners with educators, schools, youth-serving organizations, and communities across Connecticut to drive positive youth outcomes by elevating the impact of research and data. Our grant-making is aligned to our long-term strategy and social investment philosophy. We support public high schools and educators through the Connecticut RISE Network; and we strengthen non-profit organizations serving youth who are severely off-track or disconnected from school and employment through the Connecticut Opportunity Project (CTOP). CTOP works alongside seven grantee partners, investing long-term funding, coaching, and technical assistance to help them build the infrastructure required to deliver high-quality services that meaningfully improve the lives of young people. In 2025, Dalio Education expanded its social investing to workforce initiatives by applying frameworks, practices, and lessons learned from our work through CTOP to partner with employers in designing programs where young people are paid to develop hard and soft skills necessary to succeed in the workforce.
