$51,755.37 - $77,633.06Under the direction of the Department Manager, the Interfaith Chaplain will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, staff, and students at AMC Hospital. This will include both day and night coverage – remaining on site – to be available for all calls for spiritual care throughout the night and during holidays. Interfaith Chaplains work alongside Resident chaplains and the interdisciplinary care teams at AMC.Education:
Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, Master of
Pastoral Counseling or Master of Arts in Religion, or equivalent.
Certification:
Certification by Association of Professional Chaplains,
National Association of Catholic Chaplains, National Association of Jewish Chaplains, Spiritual Care Association, or Certification eligible and obtain certification within two years of hire.
Experience:
At least four Units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
Roman Catholic Priest Required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Active listening, empathy, ability to identify spiritual needs and respond to them effectively; knowledge of spiritual care tools for self and others
