We are now looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our New York team on an exciting project, building an auction and trading platform with one of our institutional investment clients.

YOU ARE: 

• A JVM lover who really enjoys working with the latest technologies and advanced design patterns.
• Eager to solve complex technical challenges, especially in cloud-based environments and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Someone looking to work in a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and helping each other.
• Experienced in Capital Markets software.

YOU HAVE:

• Significant, professional server-side software development experience using Core Java. Exposure to Java 17+ is a plus.
• General familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, caches, etc...
• General knowledge of data injection/inversion of control.
• Proficiency with client-side debugging tools (Chrome Developer Tools, React Devtools).
• Experience developing Front Office financial systems (OMS/EMS/Exchange systems/eTrading) and FIX Protocol.
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).

• Medical from the 1st of month following your start date (i.e. if you join on the 24th of July, it starts on the 1st of August). We have 6 Aetna plans to choose from as provided by our PEO, Justworks. We make a flat monthly contribution to your healthcare costs.

THE PROCESS:

Long interview processes are stressful and boring and that is not us.

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:
1- A chat with one of our great recruiters, reviewing the role and the company.
2- A zoom chat with one of our colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your experience.
3- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). ​​During this interview, we will dig even deeper, doing a live coding kata session with our engineers.

Everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.
