Job Description

Laboratory Technician I
Calipatria, CA (Onsite)
6 Months Contract (Possible extension)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of experience in sample collection, preparation, or lab analysis
• Associate of Science in chemistry or physical science with 0–1 year experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, data entry)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Safety rules
  • Environmental permits
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operation and maintenance procedures
• Ability to prepare routine reports
• Strong math skills: dilutions, proportions, percentages, volume, algebra-based calculations
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and evaluate analytical data trends
