Hourly rate: 22.00$/ hour 
Contract from 18th to March 28th.

What You'll Do 

This isn’t your average job. You’ll be part of a team that keeps remote sites running smoothly. Whether you're preparing meals, maintaining facilities, or supporting daily operations, your work makes a real impact. You’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and energizing environment for workers living far from home. 

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a General Kitchen Help to join our dynamic team. This position is a contract role. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to participate in the food preparation for our consumers.

Qualifications

You are an experienced Kitchen General Helper who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.

During your mandate, you will be asked to operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, seasons and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving, and storing. 
Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing 
knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage. 
Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
 Keeps records and requisition for supplies/equipment as needed. 
 Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following all Sodexo, client and 
regulatory rules and procedures.
 May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
You may be required to wash dishes, glasses and utensils by hand or with a dishwasher, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen (floors, equipment and material), emptying the garbage cans and transporting the garbage to the appropriate containers. 

You have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role, excellent customer service skills and teamwork. You have the ability to operate tools and equipment. You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
