What You’ll Actually Do

• More than just Processing: You aren’t just "processing paychecks"; you are here to maintain the best and most efficient payroll practices and systems.

• Be the Compliance Authority: Act as the central expert on regional statutory obligations, ensuring every payment is audit-ready and compliant with local laws and regulations.

• Drive Collaboration: Partner closely with People & Culture and Finance to evaluate new employee benefits and provide critical forecasted cost information for global financial planning. 

• Enable the Team: Develop a user-friendly experience that ensures every PaperCutter has easy access to their benefits and receives timely, accurate support for all payroll inquiries.

• Measure What Matters: Oversee monthly and annual reconciliations and accounting entries, translating complex payroll data into accurate financial reporting.

• Strategic Execution: You can advise and coach stakeholders to drive outcomes that support PaperCut’s growth and commercial goals.

• Technical Payroll Depth: You are an expert in Australian statutory reporting (superannuation, state taxes, WorkCover) and broad accounting principles.

• Exceptional Communication: You’re a natural at business partnering, able to advise stakeholders and deliver clear information to employees across the organisation.

• Systems Savvy: You know how to leverage modern payroll tooling,  automation and Excel to drive rapid execution and deep financial analysis.
