Summary
The Sample Management Specialist will actively work with his/her peers to ensure the efficient operation of the Sample Management group. The position is responsible for the coordination of sample movement over the local site. This involves, but is not restricted to, sample receipt, inventory, storage, return and disposal. The position is responsible to implement and maintain an electronic database that monitors the movement of samples through the project life cycle. The incumbent is responsible for sample control, which includes ensuring inventory records are current, providing storage costs to clients and overseeing the issuance of storage invoices. The incumbent has responsibility for health & safety, environment, productivity, and quality priorities, ensuring that these issues are addressed and optimized.
