Calibration Technician

Rate: $25 to $27/hrLocation: Lockport, IL 60441Schedule: Full Time; Onsite

 

What You’ll Do:

 

• Calibrate Electrical Test & Measurement equipment from production according to established procedures.• Calibrate customer units that have been returned for service.• Complete and maintain calibration documentation.• Review data for accuracy and completeness.• Work independently to achieve the desired results.• Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and applications assistance.• Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

 

What You’ll Need:

 

• A basic knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.• Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.• Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.• Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.• Strong attention to detail.• Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.• Must possess solid judgement and decision-making skills.• Must be well organized and be able to multitask.• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.• Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.

• A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school is preferred but not required.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

• Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing tests and calibration.• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

USD $25.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr.
