ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Senior Analyst, Middle Office is a member of Japan Operations and serves as a center of excellence for Investment Operations in Japan. The role supports funds and client accounts originated in Japan by providing operational oversight and hands‑on support across the full lifecycle, including account and market openings, ongoing servicing, and transition activities such as custodian changes and account terminations. The position works closely with global GIO teams, local business functions, and third‑party service providers to ensure high quality service delivery, operational readiness, and adherence to local regulatory and governance requirements.
ROLE SUMMARY
The role is expected to independently manage moderately complex and high‑impact middle office activities, applying in‑depth operational and technical expertise to resolve issues that often involve multiple internal teams and external partners. Working within established guidelines, the role exercises sound judgment, prioritizes competing demands, proactively identifies and escalates risks, and partners with stakeholders across regions to ensure consistent client outcomes and strong control discipline.
