Overview:

  • Opportunity to work directly for an owner on a portfolio of approximately 25 industrial assets.
  • Position reports to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Bank account reconciliations and initiate cash transfers/wires for payments
  • Monthly property accruals and amortization schedules
  • Monthly property reports and supporting schedules
  • Year-end accruals
  • Review property general ledger accounts
  • Communicate and collaborate with property management team regarding financial matters
  • Prepare monthly management fee calculations
  • Respond to requests and questions from portfolio finance teams
  • On-board new property assignments
  • Certify rent rolls and ensure rent payments are posted timely and accurately
  • Maintaining multiple basis general ledgers for a portfolio of approx. 25+ assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 3-5 years experience required.
  • Property management real estate experience
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and ensure accuracy of work.
  • Strong excel and data management skills required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Team Player
