As a Solutions Architect - Security you will work with Client Success Managers to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction. You will design, architect, implement and upgrade solutions, handle and resolve escalations.  You will have deep consulting experience leading, designing, and delivering large‑scale security initiatives for complex enterprise environments.  This role offers the opportunity to shape offerings, mentor junior team members, and contribute to national go-to-market strategies.

A Day in the Life:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including clients and technical specialists, to design and implement enterprise-wide security programs.
  • Architect, deploy, and deliver Microsoft Security solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, including identity, endpoint, email, cloud workload, and data security.
  • Support sales of Security Solutions with a focus on the Microsoft Technology Stack by qualifying strategic leads and partnering with the Account Management team.
  • Partner with Account Managers to shape proposals, lead technical presentations, respond to RFPs, and influence pipeline opportunities through strategic security guidance.
  • Lead engagements from discovery through delivery with clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery, including requirements gathering, architecture documentation, solution design, deployment, validation, and operational handover.
  • Advise on security strategy, roadmap development, and target‑state architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement data protection architectures, including information protection, data loss prevention, and secure data handling practices.
  • Apply and map security compliance requirements and frameworks into practical, deployable architectures.
  • Research and communicate industry and market trends; participate in networking events and host internal knowledge-sharing sessions to help grow the security team.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT security, spanning systems, networks, servers, and cloud
  • A strong foundation in security architecture and practical implementation
    • Proven hands‑on deployment experience with enterprise‑grade security solutions.
    • Strong expertise with Microsoft Security products, Microsoft licensing models, and cloud security architectures.
    • Solid understanding of:
        • Data protection and information security concepts
        • Security compliance and governance frameworks
        • Vulnerability management, patching, and remediation processes
          • Strong architectural knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, with Azure expertise and AWS/GCP experience considered an asset.
          • Working knowledge of scripting, coding, and automation for security deployment and integration.
          • Excellence in:
              • Requirements gathering and analysis
              • Security architecture design
              • Documentation and delivery frameworks
              • Outstanding leadership, consulting, and client‑facing communication skills, both written and verbal.
              • Deep understanding of Security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS)
              • Amazing communication skills — with the ability to translate technical detail into real-world value for clients

    Expected salary range plus 10% variable earnings
