Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Hours: First shift 6:30am-3pm with OT available (every other Saturday 6am-12pm)

Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely, effective solutions to reduce downtime Conduct equipment inspections and document maintenance activities in CMMS or maintenance logs Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components as required Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of new or upgraded equipment Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure optimal equipment performance Maintain compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) and regulatory requirements Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety procedures, and sanitation protocols Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives $27 - $32 per-hour-wage
