Project Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership necessary for successful delivery of projects from initiation to implementation to close-out of assigned activities. The Project Manager is expected to effectively manage scope, schedule/timelines, budget, quality and resources of the assigned project(s). The Project Manager also engages in designing, developing, and implementation of user experience testing and other projects.Essential FunctionsWork in conjunction with leadership to analyze and determine ongoing business opportunities and goals.Develop project plans/schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency.Manage change and/or conflict within projects and provide leadership in process improvement and other activities in cooperation with department leadership.Manage expectations and relationships between multiple departments and organizations.Facilitate project meetings, and keeps accurate records of project results and efforts.Oversees implementation of action items and works with sub teams as needed.Become the application and/or program subject expert by gaining knowledge and cultivating relationships from a variety of audiences throughout the organizations.Leads/manages projects timely, clearly and concisely organizes projects, professionally communicates verbally/written with broad spectrum of audiences.Work closely with department manager and division head on project financial tracking.Contributes new ideas for increasing scope and impact of ongoing projects.Assists in writing and proofreading manuscripts and grant applications.Initiate, audit, and monitor new contracts and amendments.
Bachelors Other in related field required.
1-3 years project management experience required or 2 years of research experience required.
A combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Masters in related field preferred
