Responsible for planning and executing recruitment and retention strategies to attract, select and retain professional staff for MJHS Menorah Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care. Assists in all employment/recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing and new hire processing.
1) Collaborates with the Director of Human Resources and the Director and Manager of Talent Acquisition in the planning and delivery of all recruitment efforts, including but not limited to social media communications, web postings, direct mail campaigns, media advertising, search firm usage, open house programs, career days, and external job fairs while marketing the organization in the most positive light.
2) Ensures delivery of accurate and timely recruitment activity and candidate status information to appropriate individuals including hiring managers, leadership and executive staff.
3) Ensures all recruitment advertising/web postings support the organization's brand, recruitment needs and reflects its strategic goals and objectives.
4) Identifies and utilizes alternate or creative recruitment sources to maximize recruitment dollars.
5) Provides leadership in reducing turnover and improving retention for staff throughout MJHS in collaboration with management.
BA/BS Degree, required.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience recruiting health care professionals in a Human Resources or relevant experience.
HR Certification preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word and Excel.
Experience utilizing HRIS and applicant tracking systems required.
Ability to be sensitive to confidential data and deal appropriately with confidential matters.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to conduct focus groups and present at other meetings.
