Must be skilled in blood draws, IV catheter placement, vaccine administration, running lab work (in house and sending to reference lab). Must have experience in surgery and anesthetic monitoring.

ScheduleMonday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.Sunday: Closed
Saturday shifts are required and are rotated.

Job SummaryThe Licensed Veterinary Technician provides leadership and training to the medical support staff in the operation of a small animal facility in accordance with hospital policy and procedures and provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients and have great attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in the following states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements: Alaska, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Kentucky. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state. Responsibilities will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable
