The Tool Manager is responsible for the oversight, tracking, maintenance, and readiness of all company tools and small equipment across multiple yard locations. This role ensures tools are properly maintained, accounted for, and readily available to support field crews, especially during storm restoration and emergency deployments.

Qualifications:
3–5+ years of experience in tool management, warehouse operations, or equipment coordination (preferably in utilities or construction) Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and utility-specific equipment Experience with inventory management systems and tracking tools High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software Preferred Experience
- Experience in electrical contracting, utilities, or storm restoration operations
- Familiarity with fleet yards and field crew support logistics
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and tool safety standards
Work Environment & Travel
Periodic travel between yard locations (PA, Pittsburgh, MS, CT) Ability to work extended hours during storm events and emergency response situations Combination of office, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments $65,000 - $75,000 a year
