Pay range: $68k - $85k based on experience (36 hour position)

Hospice nurses provide end of life care to help ensure the comfort and quality of life for their patients. They primarily work in collaborative, team-driven environments that require frequent communication with their patients, families and other caregivers. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, patient and calm. Hospice nurses are caring and kind individuals who possess a special hospice heart who can help our patients celebrate the rest of their life’s journey.
Responsibilities
Hours of operation: 7am - 7:30pm and every other weekend
Job location: West Palm Beach
Job Summary
- Carries primary responsibility to oversees daily operations of their assigned regions (Support Center/Clinical Staffing/Crisis Care), manage job performance.
- Oversees work schedule for all staff.
- Serves as the professional and administrative leader directing, the care connection staff.
- Plans and assures the coordination of the clinical and patient care activities of the assigned teams.
- Functions as a liaison between administration, physicians, and coordinators utilizing a teamwork approach.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- BSN preferred
- Skills:
- One year of leadership experience in healthcare required
- Ability to use independent judgement
- Works effectively with little or no direction
- Working knowledge of sound business practices, finance, skilled in problem solving.
- Works well under stress with deadlines
- Ability to handle a variety of complex projects simultaneously
- Professional Requirements:
