As the Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. You will design, implement, and refine internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and integrity across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to balance big-picture financial strategy with the detailed processes that drive results.
🔹 Financial Management & Reporting
Direct accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions
Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly financial statements, and reconciliations
Apply advanced accounting techniques to improve processes and reduce operational costs
🔹 Systems & Process Improvement
Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls
Ensure high data integrity across all financial and statistical systems
Maintain advanced proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and query tools
🔹 Leadership & Collaboration
Provide expertise and guidance to internal teams and external service partners
Maintain consistent attendance and dependable performance
Stay current on industry trends through continued education, reading, and seminars
Strong organizational and management skills
Ability to see the strategic “big picture” while managing detailed processes
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation
High-level computer literacy with advanced experience in spreadsheets, databases, and financial systems
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or Master’s degree preferred
5–7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a hospital setting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and statistics
