As a night-shift Laboratory Supervisor with IDEXX's Dallas Veterinary Reference Lab, you will be a people leader at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world.  You will supervise a team of Medical Laboratory Technicians; who are helping to analyze samples which helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. In This Role:

What You Will Need to Succeed: 

• You are able to work nights 

• You’ve directly supervised 10+ employees in a fast-paced and / or high-volume work environment 

• You love a fast-paced, high - volume, innovative work environment 

• You are passionate about people leadership  

• You are excited about the opportunity to use your skills and abilities in promoting the health and well-being of animals. 

• Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab – standing and sitting for extended periods of time, phone & computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, and specific vision ability – close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

• This is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals.

• Salary rate targeting: $80-85K (the salary for this position is skillset based)

Schedule: 

• This is a full time, benefitted position

• We have some flexibility in the weekly schedule. The ideal candidate could work EITHER:  a) Four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 11pm - 9am, OR b) Five 8-hour shifts. The latter schedule would be 11pm -7am Monday through Friday.

• For either schedule, there is an every-third Saturday rotation, with hours on Saturday Noon - 10pm. You'll have Friday night off on the week where you work Saturday.
