Position Summary:
The preplanning and methods engineer is responsible for implementing engineering activities, overseeing projects and optimizing production methods.
Your role:
- Coordinating the implementation of engineering activities
- Monitoring project progress, reporting according to deadlines and managing improvements and innovations
- Providing project supervision (planning, action plans) and quality according to customer specifications
- Optimizing production methods
- Defining factory layouts and process flows
- Defining and calculating machine capacities during preparation and optimizing operator work to increase efficiency and quality of production processes
- Communicating and collaborating with service centers and teams to ensure alignment between product changes and the production process
- Coordinating activities related to MCR MCIP/IMCIP while adhering to the principles of continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodology
- Creating and maintaining address systems
Your Background:
- Preferred - University degree in a technical field
- 2 years of work experience in the automotive industry
- Advanced knowledge of English language
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
- Knowledge of EOS, MEC, Problem Solving, PFMEA, Flow Chart Diagrams, WSD Validations
- Knowledge of equipment capacity calculations, LP databases, GCSD catalogs
- Experience in creating work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Preferred experience in process optimization and introduction of new products (NPI/NPP)
