YOUR ROLE

This position will perform key accounting management tasks for Versigent’s North American region. The position will report to the Regional Controller and assist in key monthly closing activities to ensure accurate financial records and adherence to Company policies for trial balances in the US and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting or audit background with experience in SAP and HFM.  In this role, you will have high visibility to upper management and great opportunity for career progression.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform key monthly close activities and analysis for Versigent’s North American region including journal vouchers and account reconciliations
• Manage timely and accurate reporting of the business tooling and investment projects
• Perform liaison activities with centralized AR, AP, and fixed asset functions to understand and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams
• Support plant accounting personnel with general accounting guidance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
• SAP / HFM experience preferred
• Ability to analyze information and recommend course of action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI
• Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
