Role Summary:

As an AI Architect at EFX, you will be responsible for designing and delivering AI-powered solutions that advance our products and platforms. You will act as a senior technical expert, providing architectural leadership within projects and platforms, ensuring secure, scalable and innovative AI implementations. This role requires strong technical depth in AI/ML, cloud native design and security frameworks, combined with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs. You will give engineering teams with best practices, mentor peers and help drive adoption of AI first development across domains.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.


This role reports to our midtown ATL (OAC). It can potentially report to our Alpharetta office if highly preferred (JV White).

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.


What you’ll do:

  • Solutions Architecture - Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions for specific products and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability and compliance with enterprise standards

  • Technical Guidance - Act as a subject matter expert in AI/ML, providing mentorship and architectural support to engineering teams

  • Collaboration - Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business requirements into AI enabled solutions

  • Security & Compliance - Apply established security frameworks and best practices to ensure safe and responsible use of AI within product deployments

  • Platform Enablement - Contribute to platform engineering by building reusable components, integrating infrastructure-as-code, and supporting delivery pipelines for AI systems

  • Innovation - Evaluate emerging AI/ML tools and techniques, run proof-of-concepts and drive adoption to solve real business problems


What experience you need:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline or related work experience
  • 7+ years of architecture experience

  • 5+ years of experience building AI/ML solutions, including production deployment 

  • 3+ year of cloud computing experience 

  • Experience with MLOps, AI frameworks and Agile delivery practices

  • Hands on experience with agentic frameworks and agent protocols a plus

  • Cloud Certification Preferred

  • Cloud-Native - Proficiency with GCP and/or AWS cloud environments, distributed systems, and micro services architectures

  • AI/ML Expertise - Strong programming skills (Python, Java, etc) and hands on experience implementing AI/ML models into production 

  • Security Mindset - Working knowledge of AI security considerations and ability to design with secure patterns

  • Collaboration & Communication - Ability to partner effectively with cross functional teams and explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non technical stakeholders

  • Problem solving - Analytical thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and provide practical AI solutions
