RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties will be assigned as required)

  • Work as a primary member of the Global Corporate Accounts Team driving large global account customers to grow sales by establishing the optimal global strategy with these targeted accounts.
  • Work as a liaison with local Area Sales Managers, Technical Inside Sales and other internal stake holders at HQ to satisfy the needs of these customers.
  • Responsible for customer global price and contract negotiations  
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Provide strategic quotations to win opportunities and replicate success stories in other countries and sales regions
  • Proactively sell and upsell Burkert products to customers and potential customers including service offerings.
  • Responsible for monthly sales reporting and quarterly business reviews to the Director of Corporate Key Account Management
  • Create a strategic KAM plan including a go-to-market strategy for CKA group within area of responsibility focusing on Bürkerts customer centric sales and potential focused sales approach
  • Have regular briefings with internal global sales teams to ensure transparent information flow and global alignment at all levels using a variety of tools – MS Teams, CRM tools, etc.
  • Responsible for strong collaboration and exchange with Core Industry and Product Management
  • Capable of building and maintaining relationships at the highest possible level within the CKA groups organization and ability to develop long-term trusting relationships focusing on value selling initiatives
  • Be able to fully utilize the following tools: Company specific Excel, CRM and SAP. Power BI would be a bonus.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, MBA would be of advantage
  • 10 - 15 years of outside sales experience required
  • International experience is a prerequisite
  • Proven track record in developing sales revenue with key accounts or larger multinational organizations, preferably within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Experience in micro fluidics and sensing equipment would be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
  • Proficient in customer relationship management tools, e.g. MS Dynamics
  • Experience using SAP is desirable
  • Open minded personality and empathetic leadership skills

  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional intercultural competence, with experience working in international environments.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels-from senior executives to shop floor personnel.

  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills in English, other languages would be of advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives in a matrix structure.
