Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA Mechanical Equipment US, Inc. seeks a Director, Repair in Northvale , NJ to process all separator repair orders and generate sales. Oversee repair team and provide technical support. Sets, aligns and governs repair targets, processes, standards, methods and tools. Assist customers and provide technical advice regarding separator repair and non-technical support. Identify and resolve complex issues with repair activities. Evaluate existing processes and recommend new approaches to meet customer and company needs. Support development of the Service Strategy. Apply mechanical and technical aptitude, and work with the maintenance / operation of Separators. Facilitate key account management for field repair. Review equipment quotations prior to submission to the customer. Assess data and analytics to identify areas of improvements. Up to 70% national travel required.  Up to two (2) days telecommuting permitted.

Requirements to include: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Science, or a related field, and 72 months of experience in Mechanical Engineering or related occupation, including: six (6) years of related work experience and six (6) years of experience with/in the following: Delivering KPI’s including Sales, GM, and Customer satisfaction; Setting repair targets, processes, standards, methods, and tools; Performing finance estimates of each machine quotation; Coordinating budgets, goals and objectives of broader service and repair teams; Knowledge in centrifuges, maintenance requirements, and/or process design; Cross-team collaboration, including with Sales; Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Utilizing CRM, SAP, and ERP Systems to evaluate processes.

 

Your Profile / Qualifications

Alternatively, the employer will accept eight (8) years of related work experience. Must have six (6) years of experience with/in the following:  Delivering KPI’s including Sales, GM, and Customer satisfaction; Setting repair targets, processes, standards, methods, and tools; Performing finance estimates of each machine quotation; Coordinating budgets, goals and objectives of broader service and repair teams; Knowledge in centrifuges, maintenance requirements, and/or process design; Cross-team collaboration, including with Sales; Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Utilizing CRM, SAP, and ERP Systems to evaluate processes.
